I am taking my 2 13yoa nieces to WDW (1st trip) the week of Halloween. AFTER having expensive costumes made for them, I heard on a forum they r too old to dress up in parks. Is this true? This news will devistate them. I cannot afford MNSSHP for us all.

    Hi Rachel,

You will just love going to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom!  This is my family's favorite special event. Guests of all ages (including adults) are encouraged to dress in costume for the night and go Trick-or-Treating around the park.   I make my family costumes when we are able to go to this fantastic event.  Your nieces will just love wearing their beautiful costumes!  I am so happy that you are able to come to the Halloween Party with them.  I am sorry that you were given misinformation and had a moment of panic.  Make sure that you see the Boo to You Parade from the beginning to see the Headless Horseman really ride through the Magic Kingdom.  HalloWishes are the fireworks for the evening and are just spectacular.  I know your Halloween will be extra magical, Rachel!
