    Dabney from TN Asked

We are taking our 6 year old, 3 year old, and 1 year old to WDW for the first time this October. I am overwhelmed in planning---and confused on the FastPass. What rides/attractions should I FastPass? Can I change selections after choosing? Thanks so much

    Hi, Dabney!

Your first trip to Walt Disney World--how exciting!

I completely understand your feeling overwhelmed, too, though.

Take a look at Preschool Parent's Guide to Walt Disney World Resort. There, you'll find a suggested itinerary, list of attractions and tips when traveling with the little ones. For a more condensed list of best attractions for little ones, I clicked on the purple box "80 Attractions and more", then filtered that list by clicking "small drops, slow rides, FastPass+, Preschoolers, Kids and 32in or taller" and sorted them by location. Make that height requirement taller for additional options.

Once you've familiarized yourself with options, choose 3 top picks in one park each day, then make your FastPass+ plans when the window opens to do so. Concentrate on one area in one park each day; for example, zoom in on this map of Magic Kingdom and find Fantasyland in the top right. Make 3 selections for FP+ in that area, keeping them all close together. Explore Tomorrowland or other areas later that day or the next.

Download the fantastic, free, My Disney Experience mobile app, too. In addition to changing  your FP+ selections from a computer prior to your arrival in WDW, this app enables you to do so right from the palm of your hand. So easy!

Keep asking questions as you plan, Dabney; we love to help!
