I am taking my 8 year old twin girls to Disney 01/26/13 - 02/03/13 for the first time and I am not sure what to expect for weather? We got the park hopper passes and water parks and not sure if we will be able to use them.

Welcome to the Mom's Panel, Marcia!  How exciting that you will be taking your eight-year-old twins to Walt DIsney World for the first time in January!  Although the weather can vary quite a bit in January, the average high temperature for Orlando is typically in the low 70s and the average low temperature is usually in the upper 40s.  When we visited last January, there were guests swimming at our Disney Resort pool. DIsney Resort pools are traditionally heated round year to approximately 82 degrees. I called DIsney directly just now to verify my information for you and the cast member I spoke with verified that the water at the Disney Water Parks is also heated year round. I hope this information helps! Please feel free to write me back with any additional questions. I would love to assist you in planning a Magical first Walt DIsney World Vacation, Marcia!
    Happy Planning,
