Hi! I am taking my 3 year old son and 1.5 year old daughter to Walt Disney World in July. Which rides can they both enjoy? Thanks!

Hi Bridget! Sounds like such a fun trip for your family coming up this next month!  There are attractions in each park that younger guests can enjoy together. Your daughter obviously won't get the same out of the experience as your older son but that doesn't mean they can't enjoy their time.

Magic Kingdom will be the park with the most attractions geared to the younger set. Fantasyland is full of fun such as Dumbo, Peter Pan, Carrousel, Winnie the Pooh, and of course Small World. In other lands you can find Aladdin's Carpets, Tiki Birds, Country Bear Jamboree, Race Cars, People Mover, and Buzz Lightyear.  If you have time take the raft out to Tom Sawyer's Island for a bit of running and playing.

Animal KIngdom would be my second choice for parks for young children. They will love the safari ride, Lion King show, and Rafiki's Planet Watch where they can both brush the goats and sheep and get hands on to some exotic animals as well as have character meet and greets.

Epcot actually has some fun things for the kids. My favorite especially for the three year old is Turtle Talk With Crush and both would enjoy the Imagination ride. There is also the Land boat ride that seems to be relaxing as well as the short but cute ride in the Mexico pavilion. There is a lot of entertainment constantly going around the park that can be fun to stop and enjoy.

The Studios has the wonderful Disney Junior you won't want to miss but I find that this park tends to have the least amount of attractions for the young children. That certainly doesn't mean you can't enjoy your day there but it is more pick and choose what you think they both will enjoy.
