I am taking my 2 year old (shy) daughter to Disney this year. I want to take her to a disney character breakfast or lunch. After reading some of the reviews, I am worried that she might get pushed out of the way by other children. Which one would be good?

She will not get pushed out of the way. The beauty of the character meal is that the characters take the time to visit each individual table in the restaurant. Guests must wait their turn to meet the characters until the characters come to them. They take the time to interact with each child individually, sign autographs and pose for photos.

All the character dining experiences would be appropriate for a two year old. I will have you consider a few things:

    - Would your daughter be more comfortable with a human character? The meals at Cinderella's Royal Table, the Princess Storybook meals, and 1900 Park Fare feature human or human-like characters that can actually speak with children. The other meals feature characters that do not speak, although they do communicate quite a bit with body language.
    - Does she have a favorite character? If she likes Pooh, try the Crystal Palace. If she likes Lilo and Stitch, try Ohana. And so on.
    - Where will you be? Is there a character meal in or near your resort? Or you want your meal to be on a day when you will be in a particular theme park? This will help you narrow down your choices.
