Hello, I am taking my 10 year old for the first time this March. I booked with a Disney travel agent, we booked the meals and fast passes each day but what is the best app to load so we can plan the rides to do and not stand in long lines??

Hello Holly! First time visits to Walt Disney World are so exciting! Be sure to pick up a complementary First Visit button at Guest Relations.

I have the My Disney Experience App downloaded on my phone. It is a great resource to utilize in the parks and it has everything from park maps to attraction wait times to dining options. I use it mostly for the wait times. If I see that a favorite attraction has a short posted wait time I will speed walk over and hop in line. I'm so happy that the wait times are all posted in the same location, it's so much more convenient. Remember when you had to actually walk over to an attraction to see how long the wait was?

It is a great App, and it's only going to get better. The My Disney Experience App will soon allow guests to choose additional FastPass+ selections right from their phones. It is still in the testing phase, but I can't wait to try out the new technology. Disney really does go out of the way to think of the guests and to make our experiences convenient and enjoyable.

If you have any more questions please stop by.

Happy planning, and have a magical Walt Disney World Vacation.
