Child watching parade at Disney's Hollywood Studios

I am taking my 2.5 year old to Disney in May and wanted to know if it is possible to add the hopper option to only 1 of the days of my 5 day pass. I want to go to Hollywood Studios but don't think there are enough attractions to keep him interested.

    Hi Kristina,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question about your upcoming visit in May with your little one!

If you choose to add the Park Hopper Option to your Theme Park Tickets, it needs to be added for the entire duration of your Tickets and not just for one day.

While I think that your little guy will find plenty to keep him busy and happy during your visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios (be sure to check out Toy Story Mania! and Disney Junior - Live on Stage! - two of my son’s faves when he was a toddler), I would recommend against hopping to another Theme Park that day.

Instead, plan this to be a day midway through your vacation and head back to your hotel for a lazy day splashing by the pool and then head to Disney Springs later that night, if you and your family are feeling up to it. I’ve found that after a “rest day” we all tend to have more fun for the rest of our holidays because we’re better rested.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
