We are taking our 2 1/2 year old on a Disney cruise at the end of march. She will turn 3 in early July. I would like to take her to the dinner/ tea with the princesses but it says ages 3-12 is there a way she can attend this?

    Welcome Aboard, Jennifer!

I can see from a previous question you asked that you'll be sailing on the gorgeous Disney Fantasy. The Royal Court Royal Tea, which is offered exclusively on the Fantasy, is a magical fairytale experience held in the Royal Court Restaurant onboard.

While your daughter is not quite old enough yet to join in on royal teatime, there are certainly plenty of opportunities to mix and mingle with your favorite Disney royalty. Last year, when we sailed with Disney Cruise Line, there were at least two Princess Gatherings in the Atrium Lobby during our cruise. During the gatherings, Disney Princesses were on hand to sign autographs, pose for pictures, and spend time with all their young admirers! Many of my daughter's favorite princesses were in attendance, all dressed up in their most regal ball gowns. It was a wonderful little party, and the princesses spent plenty of time with each little girl to make her feel special.

Of course, you're always welcome to ask about the Royal Court Royal Tea once you board the ship. (Reservations are only available onboard.) Since this is a very popular event, it's probably not possible for them to make an exception to the posted age limit. That being said, it never hurts to ask!

Thanks for stopping by with your question. Please come back and see us if you have more questions before you set sail in March. It will be here before you know it! - Diane W.
