We'll be taking our 9 year old daughter to WDW, we are first time visitors. What "special" events/things do you recommend? We'll be there for 9 days. I need help!

    Hi Belinda,

Help is on the way! I bet you're so excited and overwhelmed when it comes to planning your first visit to Walt Disney World. Well, we here at the Moms Panel will sprinkle a bit of pixie dust to get you flying high and on your way to an unforgettable vacation.

Your 9 year old princess will have the time of her life at Walt Disney World, no matter what you decide to do. If she's a lover of Disney Princesses, and dreams of becoming one herself, you'll have to book a magical transformation for her at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. The Fairy Godmothers-in-training will make her feel like true royalty as they pamper her like a princess should be.

If you all are thrill-seekers, you'll want to make FastPass+ selections for some of the best attractions in each park. With 9 days of park time, you'll be able to experience all of the popular attractions, shows and meet-and-greets in each park, but you'll be able to do it multiple times! Our family loves visiting our favorite attractions like Star Tours at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Test Track in Epcot, Kilimanjaro Safaris in Animal Kingdom, and Space Mountain (as well at Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad) in Magic Kingdom. If you'd like a detailed guide to what are must-sees and must-dos for first timers, be sure to check out a great Disney World enthusiast site easywdw.com. They have great information, and even spreadsheets of what days to visit each park.

I hope this information helps, Belinda. If you have any more questions before your magical vacation, please feel free to ask us at any time. We're always here to help.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
