We are taking my 5 year old daughter to WDW for her 6th birthday- Although we will not be there on the actual date, is it possible to still get the birthday treatment?

If you're celebrating, then Disney is celebrating, no matter what the actual date is. Just go to the guest relations office at any of the theme parks and request a free birthday button. Your daughter can wear this with pride as she tours the parks. Cast members and other guests will be sure to give her an extra smile. Also be sure to tell the front desk of your hotel and the servers at any table service meals you might have during your trip. While this is not guaranteed, often the birthday girl will receive a small surprise or two. Of course you could arrange for a birthday cake at one meal yourself or you could bring streamers to decorate your hotel room.

I'm sure she'll have a birthday to remember!
