Taking our 2 year old daughter to Disney World for her first time May 7-13 2008. Any inside tips to make her first trip, as well as Mother's Day for mom, extra special, such as special requests to cast members or our Hotel to get those "Magical Extra

    Hi Paul,

When you go to Magic Kingdom, go to Town Hall and ask for the special pin. It will say "My First Visit" and you never know what extras that will bring your princess.

I have found if you approach Cast Members you may get extras not normally given.  We asked to ride up front in the monorail.  This was a lot of fun and we receive a driver's license as a souvenir.

One special thing my husband does with our daughters is to have them pick a pearl each trip.  When we are in EPCOT, we visit Japan and purchase an oyster.  My daughters each picks an oyster and then they are opened before them.  They never know what is inside.  When they get older, they are going to have their pearls set.  Now each pearl has its own special memory.

Have a wonderful time and don't forget the video camera!
