I am taking my wife (& teens) to Disney world for Mothers Day. Are there any special events going on that weekend? Any hints or suggestions to make the whole day special. ( I already am looking at the Spa for the next day) Something we can do as a fami

    Hi Andrew,

Celebrating Mother's Day at the Walt Disney World Resort is going to be so magical! Throwing in some "pixie dusted" pampering? Well, it just can't get any more special than that!

I recommend booking a Spa Treatment at Senses - A Disney Spa at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort as soon as possible since it will most likely be very busy on Mother's Day. There are so many services to choose from but, I can tell you from personal experience, that the Aromatherapy Massage and the Coconut Hydrating Facial are amazing. Your wife will get the "royal" treatment at Senses!

The whole family will enjoy Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Tea Room, also located in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Either before or after Mom's Spa service you can treat the whole gang to an assortment of international teas, sandwiches, scones, pastries and other delicious selections. It's truly an elegant and unique Dining Experience.

Another suggestion would be to hop on the monorail and head over to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and dining at either 'Ohana for a Hawaiian-style feast or Kona Cafe for American and Asian inspired dishes. Both Restaurants have fantastic menus, and you'll feel like you've escaped to a tropical oasis while visiting this beautiful exotic Resort.

You can end your day by reserving FastPass+ preferred viewing for Wishes nighttime spectacular in Magic Kingdom Park. There's nothing quite like a fireworks extravaganza to celebrate the special Mom in your life!

    Magical Wishes,
