Hi All, taking my wife and kids (first time and a surprise) to WDW. Ages 3,7,8,10. What is the best place to go? We are thinking beginning of March (is that a good time?) What is FastPass? Overall, any tips, tricks or ideas that will help it all go smooth.

    Hello J,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your question raises several issues, but here is some basic information about each topic to help guide you:

Time of year: While I would visit the Walt Disney World Resort 365 days per year, visiting in March may mean that you'll run into Spring Break crowds. I recommend consulting a "crowd calendar" to get a sense of how busy it might be during your potential dates. My favourite resource for this kind of information is www.touringplans.com. That website has a ton of tips and tricks that you may also find helpful.

Resort: With a family of 6, you may want to look into the In-Depth Planning Guide about Rooms for 5 Guests or More.

FastPass+: Families can now reserve a spot for some of their favourite Walt Disney World attractions and experiences before they even leave home. I find that it minimizes our wait times, but maximizes our fun.

I know that this is a LOT of information to take in. Please check out the links I've provided and to please come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day!
