Taking two girls to WDW this coming Monday 9/24/12. Just heard that they might offer bedtime stories by a princess. Anyone know if this is accurate and if so how it is arranged? Both of our girls would remember that forever.

    Hi there, Charley!

While the Walt Disney World Resort does offer a variety of character interactions - including meet-and-greets with the Princesses - there is not presently a way to arrange for a Princess to come deliver a bedtime story to any Guest.

The Disneyland Resort in California does offer a televised nighttime story by a story, but that is not presently available at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

If you book your vacation through AAA, an authorized Disney travel planner, you'll have a chance to enjoy the Princess Storytime Experience, a semi-private interaction in which a Princess (or female leading lady, like Mary Poppins) will come read a story to the children in the room, play some games, and then have time for autographs and pictures. This is a very small event; when I had the chance to go, there were about a dozen children in the room.

It is likely that if you bring a favorite poem (on the shorter side) to a character interaction, the Princess will take a moment to read it to your little ones for a great photo opportunity. But do be aware that the Royal time is valuable, so try to keep the poem on the brief side.

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
