Taking a stroller to disney for our 2 yr oldam i able to lock the strollerrear wheels at least

    Hi Miguel,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. It looks like your trip is Walt Disney World is coming up VERY soon, and I’m so excited for you!

Bringing a stroller for your preschooler is a very, very wise decision, and both you and your Mouseketeer will be very glad you did. We really enjoyed having our kids in the stroller, where they could snack, drink water, blow bubbles, and watch for “friends,” letting us walk at a quicker pace and without holding hands (seriously, it’s too hot to hold hands at Disney).

Miguel, we never lock our stroller when at Walt Disney World, and we have never had a problem. Cast Members have an amazing stroller parking system, and they often need to move a stroller while it is parked to keep stroller parking organized and easy for Guests to use. I checked with a Cast Member, who told me that locks are not permitted because Cast Members must be able to move strollers, wheelchairs, and ECVs for safety reasons.

My advice is to keep all valuables with you, not in the stroller, and to find a way to make your stroller stand out. I’ve seen brightly-colored ribbons and balloons tied to the handle, as well as fun signs and homemade license plates. This will make it easy for you to find if it gets moved while you’re having your best day ever!

Miguel, I hope you and your little one have a magical time together at Walt Disney World!
