Hi, I am taking my sister to WDW in aug '12 for her birthday. But her real birthday is the month before in july of '12. Is she still eligible for all of the birthday festivities even though it will not be her actual birthday?

Hi, Jenny!  What an awesome sister you are!  Can I give you my sister's phone number so you can tell her that I'd like for my birthday the exact same gift?

If you're celebrating something, Walt Disney World is celebrating something!  You can absolutely still enjoy a very happy birthday with your sister, even if it's not the actual day.

When you make your reservation, let them know that you're celebrating this special occasion.  They will often try to acknowledge the big day when you check in, and check in is a good time to ask for a birthday button.  My kids (oh, who am I kidding - I do too!) love it when cast members and even other park guests wish a happy birthday.

Also, when making dining reservations, let them know it's your sister's birthday.  Most of the restaurants try to sprinkle a little pixie dust to help you celebrate.  You never know what might be in store, but in the past, we've been treated to a birthday card signed in Swahili, a table sprinkled with pixie dust, and even an occasional sweet treat!

I hope your sister has a wonderful birthday - and we already know she's got a wonderful sister!
