Family fun on board

We are taking a repositioning cruise from San Diego to Vancouver this May. Do repositioning cruises offer the same entertainment as regular crusises? Will there be a pirate party?

Welcome aboard, Tanya! You've got a wonderful itinerary to experience this spring when you sail on the Disney Wonder from San Diego to Vancouver! You're in for all sorts of magical memories both onboard and in the ports of call.

All of Disney's sailings include fabulous entertainment like Deck Parties, Broadway-style shows, Character Greetings, variety acts and now, more new fun for families on the Disney Wonder! You'll get to see the brand new stage show Frozen: A Musical Spectacular which just opened on the Wonder. I have already seen it twice, and it is my favorite of all the shows onboard Disney's ships, so you're in for a real treat!

Pirate Night is a popular event on Disney's ships, and you'll be fortunate enough to experience it on your sailing too. Pirate Night is held on most sailings, with the exception of the Alaskan sailings. However, in the past years, the repositioning itinerary from Southern California to Vancouver has always featured the Pirate Night parties, so you can expect to enjoy that too! Usually it is held the second day onboard, the sea day between San Diego and San Francisco. Be sure to pack some pirate gear from home, as many guests will go all out in pirate attire for the night! All guests onboard receive a Mickey's Pirates IN the Caribbean bandana, but you'll see plenty of guests wearing even more swashbuckling gear that night. You can also expect an Optional Dress Up Night on your second to last night onboard. That's a fun night to wear dressier outfits for some great photos!

Have so much fun planning, and please stop back again if you have any additional questions before you set out to sea, Tanya!
