Taking my princess for her 8th b-day in March for a short 4 night girls only trip. Will there likely be a room discount offered then? If not, we'll stay value and hope for an upgrade! Considering BBB and/or TTDP. Any recommendations? How can we save $$?

    Hi Kelsey,

I'm going to send you over to the independent website mousesavers.com. They do an excellent job of tracking WDW discounts, if there are discounted room rates or special promotions offered, they'll know about them. Additionally, there is a section which tracks the history of room discounts at WDW. You can look there at your intended dates to see how often there have been specials offered then.

If your daughter likes princesses, then the BBB is a great option. If you're looking to economize there, bring your own dress from home or buy one at a discount store like Target. There is no requirement that princess dresses be bought on site.

Another common money-saving tip is to eat breakfast in your room. Juice boxes, granola bars, etc. are all great for a quick fuel-up and can be easily transported. You're also welcome to bring sandwiches, snacks, etc. into the parks with you. This can be a real money saver.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
