Taking my parents to WDW they are in their 80's, using ECV they have not been to the world in many, many years. They always wanted to take a tour to see how it all works, etc going under ground....When I looked up tours..there are so many..any suggestions

    Jeanne,

What a great gift for your parents!  I'm sure you will all have a great time together.

If they really want to see the 'behind-the-scenes' action, then I think the Backstage Magic tour is in order.  It is an all-day (7 hour) tour that is very comprehensive.  They will visit Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios, see the famous utilidors, backstage areas where props are constructed or refurbished, costuming, the laundry - you name it!  There is a wide range of possibilities and they are all very interesting.  Lunch is included, most recently at the Whispering Canyon Cafe.

If that is too long for them, I'd look at the Keys to the Kingdom tour.  This one stays put in the Magic Kingdom, and is about 5 hours long.  This one also includes lunch at Columbia Harbor House.  They will again get to peek at some cast member-only areas of the park, and will also be able to ride a few rides on this tour.  (They can vary, but plan on Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean - nothing too wild)

    Have a great vacation!
