we are taking an off day and want to travel around other resorts in the area. we are staying at the french quarter and didn't know how to go from one area to another without driving our own car. Thank you Lindsay

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lindsay!

My wife, daughter and I had the opportunity to visit several Disney Resorts last year and it was fantastic to see some of the other properties that Disney offers to their guests.

The easiest way to “hop” between different Disney Resort hotels is by utilizing the wide array of complimentary transportation options by bus, boat, monorail or Disney’s new Skyliner. From Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, I would recommend traveling to Epcot by bus. From Epcot, you’ll be able to board a bus to any of the Disney Resort properties or you can even jump aboard Disney’s monorail and soar high in the sky to several resort destinations. You’ll then be able to keep “hopping” from one resort to another by utilizing each of the transportation services that Disney offers. Just keep in mind that you’ll need to board transportation at Disney Springs or one of Disney’s Theme Parks to get to another resort.

If you've not visited Disney's Wilderness Lodge, plan on doing so. In fact, I recommend lunch at Geyster Point Bar & Grill. Then take a boat to Magic Kingdom and keep on hopping!

If you have any other questions, please let us know. Have a magical day!
