We are taking the October 14th from NY which includes a visit to Disney World. We have never been there so I was wondering if anyone can give me advise on how to plan our day, which park would be best to visit first? We are a family of 4 kids are 7, 10. THX

    Ahoy, Konny!

What a fabulous itinerary you've selected for your crew! I consider the Disney Magic a destination in itself so combine that with the Walt Disney World Resort, a visit to Castaway Cay and some MARVELous experiences onboard, and you've got the perfect ingredients for a pixie-dusted vacation.

Since you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort for the first time, I suggest Magic Kingdom to start your day. I see that you're from California so this park may feel similar to Disneyland Park. I recommend navigating your way through the attractions offered at this park beforehand with your family so you can select your must-do list together. As someone who is visited both parks, I suggest using one of your three preloaded FastPass+ selections for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train since this is an attraction you don't have in California. I propose a quick-service meal to maximize your time as many restaurants now offer mobile ordering using the My Disney Experience app. If you haven't already, please create an account and download the app for your visit. It sounds like you plan to take advantage of the Park Hopper option, so around mid-afternoon (sometime after the Festival of Fantasy Parade at 2:00 p.m.), I recommend hopping over to Disney's Animal Kingdom to visit Pandora-The World of Avatar. This unique land has just opened and your special FastPass+ selections will get you into the two newest attractions on property-Na'vi River Journey and Avatar Flight of Passage. There are some other incredible lands to experience with unforgettable attractions and shows like Dinosaur, Kali River Rapids, Expedition Everest, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Festival of the Lion King, Finding Nemo-The Musical and Flights of Wonder.

Konny, my best advice is to explore the Walt Disney World Resort website with your family to devise your magical plan. Good luck!
