Taking an 18 month old to WDW for spring break in March. Looking into doing character dining. Will we have to pay for him for him to experience the dining? If so what is the cost? I wasn't sure since he doesn't require a ticket to the park.

    Hi Richard:

Kids under three can eat free from off an adult's plate at sit down restaurants and buffets, including character meals.  If you want to order your child under three a separate meal, you will have to pay the cost of that meal at menu price.  When making your advance dining reservation, include all members of your party, even children under three.  You will likely be asked the ages of your children, but feel free to voluntarily identify any children in your party under three to your reservationist and server.

Happy dining and enjoy your vacation.
