I am taking my 2 month old to Disneyland next month and I'm aware that I can bring her on rides w/o height requirements. Can you explain how this works? Do I keep her in a baby carrier or do I hold her in my arms, as she can't sit up on her own?

    Hi there, Keely!

As a mom of three youngsters under the age of 8, I’ve been bringing my children to the theme parks since they were just a few months old. Personally, I have found the easiest way to experience the parks with an infant is with a baby carrier. I always brought a stroller, too, for naptime and to carry my diaper bag. As you mentioned, you may bring your baby on any attractions without height requirements. When riding attractions with your baby, I recommend keeping her in the baby carrier. It’s easier for you to be hands-free, especially for attractions such as Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters or Toy Story Midway Mania!, where you’ll be using your hands to score points. Cast Members will inform you if there’s a need to remove baby from your carrier for any attractions, but for the most part, you should be able to keep her in the carrier.

You’re also going to want to get acquainted with the Baby Care Centers, offered at both parks. These Centers are the perfect spot to feed or change baby, and to purchase any baby necessities. There’s even a separate area for nursing and pumping mothers, which was a lifesaver for me as a new mom looking for a quiet place to nurse.

Lastly, I recommend downloading the Disneyland app, which allows you to check wait times, find favorite Characters, and even order food and drinks ahead of time, which is especially helpful for parents of little ones!

Wishing you a magical first visit with your sweet baby!
