we are taking our little girl (5 years old)on her first Disney trip they day after christmas. I have the tickets bought but im not sure of how fast pass works. I have read everything I could find about it and still don't understand.do fast passes sell out?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Emily!

I am so excited for your little princess's first trip to Walt Disney World Resort. Be sure to get her a complimentary First Visit celebration button on your way into the theme park! The FastPass+ system is a great way to enjoy some of your favorite attractions and entertainment events while bypassing the Standby queue. Every ticketed Guest can reserve 3 FastPass+ reservations prior to their trip. Once those are used, you can add additional FastPass+ reservations to enjoy that day, one at a time. You can book your FastPass+ reservations through My Disney Experience. Be sure your theme park admission tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account prior to making your reservations.

FastPass+ reservations are complimentary for every ticketed Guest. However, FastPass+ reservations are subject to availability. So for very popular attractions and entertainment, FastPass+ reservations are generally all booked very quickly after their reservation window is open. Guests who are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel can begin booking their FastPass+ reservations 60 days in advance. Otherwise, day Guests can begin making their FastPass+ reservations 30 days in advance. I recommend making your FastPass+ reservations as early as possible to get the best selection for your trip.

If you have any additional, please let us know. We are happy to help you prepare for your trip! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
