We are taking our grand-daughter (4.5) and her mom & dad, to WDW in mid Aug this year. They requested staying at Animal Kingdom (jambo) to SEE ANIMALS. What is the best room location to request to accomplish this.

Jambo Michael and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You are giving me a run for the money for the "Grandparent of the Year Award" this year! There is nothing like seeing the Magic of Disney through the eyes of your grandchild. And, you made a brilliant choice with Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge for your trip with your little princess.

To make sure you have the opportunity to fully enjoy this stunning resort, I recommend selecting a savannah view room. These rooms have a balcony that overlooks the savannah where you can see a variety of animals each day. You will even find a handy picture guide in your room to help identify the exotic breeds you will see. You can also see animals from many vantage points throughout the resort including hallway windows! Make sure and check the resort schedule of events to find out where and when you can view the evening savannah with night vision goggles.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have more questions, come on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel- we love to help!

    See ya real soon,
    Anne
