Hi. We are taking our girls that are 5 and 11 but will be 6 and 12 for their birthdays in july. We're planning to visit WDW for 2 days so we make sure we get to see it all, is that enough time to do WDW?

    Hello Alana!
Birthdays are extra special when celebrated at the Walt Disney World Resort!  One of the things that I most love about Walt Disney World is the seemingly endless array of attractions, shows, recreational activities, shopping, dining, and so much more.  However, this does mean that it is nearly impossible to "see it all."  Even families planning on 10 day trips must prioritize and select carefully as there is so much to do.

If I was taking two children that were 6 and 12, I would focus on the Magic Kingdom Park.  With Cinderella Castle at its heart, the Magic Kingdom Park has six enchanting lands, parades, over 40 attractions, meet and greets with many classic and new Disney characters, and an evening firework spectacular that will leave you breathless.

Make sure and stop by Guest Services to pick up Birthday buttons for the girls.  That is sure to get them lots of happy birthday wishes from Cast Members.

If you have more questions, come on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We love helping Guests plan magical trips.

    See ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Anne, Iowa

I’m Anne, a native Iowan, wife, mother, and grandmother. For me, a major part of the fun of a Disney trip is the planning. I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother. While I can’t pick my funniest Disney memory – either my 70-year-old mother on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror or my 4-year-old grandson on Dinosaur – I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures.
