    Sherri from Florida Asked

I am taking some friend to Disney and their son has not been to any of the Disney theme parks. We will only have time for one park. The mom is worried that the magic kingdom would be too young for the 10 yr old. Would Hollywood studios be better?

    Hi Sherri,

My kids are 9 and 11, and they still absolutely love the Magic Kingdom. It's definitely their favorite park. They especially like Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain, and Splash Mountain, but also enjoy the overall atmosphere of the park. If you can only go to one park, and your friends haven't been to Walt Disney World before, I'd definitely recommend going there.

Hollywood Studios is definitely a great park for 10-year olds as well. If the child likes thrill rides, the Rock N Roller Coaster and the Tower of Terror are two of the best on property. However, if you are only going to one of the theme parks, I'd suggest the Magic Kingdom.

I hope that helps you make a decision! Have a great vacation!
