Taking our first trip in June with two teenage boys. Meals plans are so overwhelming. What is the difference between 3 meals a day, and a breakfast, lunch and dinner plan?

    Hi Sharon,

The Disney Dining Plan can be confusing.  There are three options:  a Quick Service Dining Plan, the regular Disney Dining Plan, and the Deluxe Dining Plan.   I believe you are asking about the difference between the Disney Dining Plan and Deluxe Dining Plan.  The Disney Dining Plan will give you a Quick Service meal, a Table Service meal and a snack for every night you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort.  The Deluxe Dining Plan will give you three Table Service meals and two snacks for every night you are staying.  The Table Service restaurants are sit down meals that you are served while the Quick Service meals are ordered at a counter.  The Quick Service Dining Plan will allow you to have two Quick Service meals and one snack per night.  All of the dining plans include a mug that is refillable at your resort.  My family will usually have the regular Disney Dining Plan as three Table Service meals are just too much food and time for us.  We would rather play than sit down at a restaurant three times a day.  However, many others on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel love the flexibility of trying new (and fantastic) meals and restaurants on property.  Let me know if I can help you further, Sharon!
