Hi Rebecca,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! HOORAY for your first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!!!
It sounds like you are planning a one-day trip. If so, my first suggestion would be to arrive the night prior and spend the night in a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Of course, if you plan to spend more than a day, I suggest that you book a
Magic Your Way Vacation Package. With a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel stay, you can make your
Fast Pass+ selections 60 days in advance. This is an incredible timesaving, keep from falling out in LONG lines, benefit.
With Fast Pass+, you can reserve times for up to three initial rides or attractions at one park. At Magic Kingdom, my 11-year old girls love Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain and Tomorrowland Speedway. When they were 5-years old, they loved The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan's Flight, Mad Tea Party, Dumbo the Flying Elephant and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. With each Fast Pass+, you get a ride time window that is typically one hour and the wait, if any, usually is not more than 15 minutes. When our girls were 5-years old, they thought Fast Pass+ was like having a golden ticket!
Rebecca, since you have children of different ages that probably meet different height requirements, be sure you check the
Attractions List to see which rides each girl can experience. Also, make dining reservations for character meals - this will save you time! At character meals, each of the characters visits your table to take pictures and sign autographs.
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
