We are taking our first trip to Disneyland next week and staying on property. We are excited to be able to use extra magic hours and are wondering if fast passes are available during extra magic hours?

    Hi there Stephanie,

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I hope you are having a magical week.

I’m thrilled to infinity & beyond that you are taking your first trip to the Disneyland Resort next week! You are going to make unforgettable memories! Be sure to get your free “First Visit” button. Simply stop by City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park or at Guest Services in Disney California Adventure Park to get your family their buttons to wear during the vacation.

Staying in a Disneyland Resort hotel is the best. There are so many benefits to this, like the close proximity to both theme parks, never leaving that feeling of Disney even after the parks close and you are in your magical bedroom and of course utilizing Extra Magic Hour each day of your stay!

Here’s the current schedule for Extra Magic Hour
    Disneyland Park: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays
Disney California Adventure Park: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays

You are able to enter select attractions, stores and dining locations one hour before the park opens to the general public. Extra Magic Hour is subject to capacity, cancellation and other restrictions. In my experience, Disney FASTPASS Service has not been available during Extra Magic Hour. Once the park opens to the general public, FASTPASS tickets will be available.

Please visit me here with any other questions and let me know how I can help you plan your magical vacation.

Wishing you a Fairy Tale time at The Happiest Place on Earth!
