We are taking our first trip to Disney World, we are staying 7 nights. It is me my husband and 3 year old daughter. We have purchased dining, and tickets too. can you give me an avg $ amount of spending money we should take to spoil our daughter and extra?

You and your family are going to have such a magical time at Walt Disney World. Now, I must tell you at the outset that I am the parent of two little girls and I freely admit they got me wrapped around their fingers. With that in mind I tend to be more generous. Not to spoil or reward but to just enjoy the moment. These moments at the Happiest Place on Earth are so magical and end before we know it. With that as my mindset I have no problem spending a bit more to enjoy the experience or to prevent a bad experience. As an example, my older daughter loves the dill pickles they sell at the Magic Kingdom. While I do not normally want to spend money on a dill pickle, it means so much to her, so I am happy to make her smile. I am always good for at least one dessert (churro, popcorn, ice cream and more), a Mouse Ears balloon and a reminder of our vacation, perhaps a stuffed animal or other toy. From there we often spot a T-shirt or other clothing we agree is a must have for the ladies on our trip. We have been known to splurge on some new Mickey Mouse Ears or a Yoda backpack or even some awesome face painting. As you can see, over seven days it can add up! I usually spend about $30-$40 per child for all of that. Mind you, it is not on a daily basis and I may spend quite a bit less on many days, but that is a limit I am comfortable with for my ladies. I know that everyone has a budget, my family sure does, but while I am at the Happiest Place on Earth, I try to make sure I can let my kids enjoy all the little things that this magical place has to offer.
