Taking our first trip to Disney with our 4 kids ages 10 (girl), 8 (girl), 8 (girl), 5 (son)! Any recommendations on what we "must do" and if we should try to go to all 4 theme parks or just concentrate on a few of them? We will be there for 1 w

Hi Jenny.  What a fun age group of children to take to Walt Disney World! You are going to have a great time.

If I were you, I would try to squeeze in all 4 theme parks since your children aren't too little.  I also recommend spending 2 days at Magic Kingdom.  Your kids are going to love Magic Kingdom and the park is so big.  If you spend 2 days there your children will have the opportunity to ride their favorite attractions again and you can spend some time looking at the shops on Main Street, U.S.A. which is always fun!

Since this is your first time visiting Walt Disney World try to familiarize yourself with the FastPass+ system and make FastPass+ selections ahead of time for each day your are spending in the parks.  You get 3 FastPass+ reservations a day.  Use those on attractions that fill up quickly at Magic Kingdom like Splash Mountain, Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

Whether you and your children enjoy thrill rides or shows, I would suggest making a list of your top 10 things you want to do at each theme park and do those first.  That way if you aren't able to get to something else later in the day no one is terribly disappointed because you've already done a majority of the best attractions for your family.

Have a great time and if you have another question feel free to ask!
