We are taking our first cruise in May, 2011 and will be arriving by plane to MCO very late the night before the cruise departs (will stay overnight near the airport). Can we still use Magical Express the next morning to get from the airport to the ship?

    Hi Nicole,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  If you've purchased the Disney Cruise Line transfer service, you will be able to take advantage of the motorcoach transportation to the port from Orlando International Airport.

You should plan on arriving at Disney's Magical Express Welcome Center (located on Side B, Level 1 - Ground Transportation level) between 6:30-8:30 a.m. the day of your cruise.  You should have all of your cruise documentation and identification with you, because you will be able to fully check-in for your voyage at this time.  You will receive your stateroom keys and have your security photo taken before you even board the motorcoach.

The busses typically begin departing between 9:30-10:00 a.m. and you can expect to arrive at the port by 11:00.  SInce you will have already checked in at the airport, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy the terminal before the boarding process begins.

Personally, my favorite pre-cruise hotel is the Hyatt which is located right inside the airport - it's just a short walk to the Magical Express Welcome Center, which is very convenient!  Let the front desk know that you will be taking a Disney Cruise, and they will more than likely have written instructions for you.

Hope this helps - enjoy your cruise!
