Taking our first cruise on the Dream in Nov. I am an early riser, especially when on vacation. Just wondering what time do the restaurants, pools and fitness club open in the morning? Any suggestions of what to do before 8 am? Thanks.

    Ahoy Andrew –

Your November DREAM cruise is just right around the corner! I know that once I hit the 90-day mark prior to a cruise, I can’t help but feel so very excited (smile). Your question is really ironic because when we are on a Disney cruise vacation, my family is the type that parties all night and then sleeps until noon. The only time I had the pleasure of rising early on the ship was when my husband and I took a cruise without the kids! But let me reassure you that there is plenty of action in the morning for the early birds. Breakfast starts early with Cabanas buffet opening at 7 AM and the table service restaurants usually open an hour later at 8 AM. Remember that Room Service is 24 hours and you can get a continental breakfast in your stateroom if you prefer. The Quiet Cove Pool and Funnel Puddle open around 8AM with the other pools opening an hour later. The Senses Fitness Center is ready to go at 6AM if you desire an early work out. Most of the scheduled activities for children and adults begin around 8:30-9:00AM so I suggest you consider breakfast and pool time/exercise first thing, then transition to those other events. Andrew, I think you can get a lot more done on a cruise being an early riser, and I hope you have fun on your vacation. Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel because Marcy and I are right here if you need more help!
