Hello! We are taking our first cruise, Disney Wonder, on April 1st with our 2 boys (5 and 3 yo). My question: in the oceaneer lab/club are there any counselors speaking spanish? My kids don´t speak/understand english that well. Thank you :)

    Ahoy, Gabriela!

It won't be long until you're sailing away on your first Disney Cruise Line vacation. How egg-citing that you'll be sailing on Easter Sunday - Mickey Mouse and his friends might just dress up for the occasion!

I'm happy to hear you're planning to take advantage of the amazing Youth Clubs during your sailing. The cast members on the ship are very diverse, coming from over 50 countries around the globe, and fluent in many languages. In my experience, several of the Youth Counselors in the Oceaneer Club and Lab have typically been Spanish speaking, so your kids should have someone to help with the language barrier. The highly-trained counselors are great with kids, and do their best to keep young cruisers entertained and engaged while in the clubs. The wonderfully-themed youth spaces are so much fun - I usually have trouble getting my kids to leave at the end of the night!

I encourage you to stop by and visit the clubs during Open House hours on embarkation day, where you can tour the space and meet with the counselors. Feel free to ask them any questions about activities and events that will be happening throughout your sailing!

If you visit the Oceaneer Club page on the Disney Cruise Line website, and select "read more" under the "Registration, Check-In and More" section, you'll be able to download and print a fun, complimentary "My Disney Cruise Adventure Booklet" to help prepare your little ones for their Disney Cruise Line vacation. There's an option to download the booklet in English or Spanish.

I hope you and your family have an awesome time on your upcoming cruise! - Diane W.
