We are taking a family vacation involving family 4 different families. We each have our own confirmation number, but after I linked them, now, no one is able to utilize mydisneyexperience except me. Please tell me how we can all have fun planning.

    Hello Pamela,

Thank you for your question and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m often in charge of organizing group trips with several of my friends and their families, so I know all about trying to get everyone on the same page with My Disney Experience!

First things first, make sure that your friends and family members (over the age of 18) have created a My Disney Experience account for themselves and that they've added their resort confirmation number to their profile.  Once everyone has their account, then make sure that you’re connected to each other and part of your Family & Friends list. If you don’t know how to link everyone, don’t worry! There is a handy Step-by-Step Guide that will show you how to link everyone.

Once you’re all linked, and you’ve given each other permission to view and add each other to your vacation plans, then you should be all set to start making vacation plans together!

One small tip: I do find that everything works best, though if there is one “main” person who is in charge of making reservations for things you may want to do together as a group. When we travel with lots of friends and family members, I usually designate a meal that we’ll all share together and one or two FastPass+ selections per day that we’ll enjoy as a group and I leave a bit of space for my friends to make their own plans, if they wish.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
