Taking the Disney Dream out of Port Canaveral but flying into Orlando one night prior. Any hotel recommendations that would provide transportation from the hotel to the cruise line? Doesn't necessarily need to be a Disney hotel. Thanks!

    Hi Lindsay!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Flying in the night prior to your cruise is a wonderful idea. My family always tries to arrive in Orlando at least one day in advance of our voyage just to play it safe. If there is an unexpected flight delay, arriving at least one day in advance will give us plenty of wiggle room to still make it to our Disney Cruise in enough time to dance with Mickey and his friends at the Sail-Away Celebration!

Lindsay, I highly recommend staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel the night before your voyage. When you arrive at Orlando International Airport, you can receive complimentary transportation to your Resort hotel via Disney's Magical Express! Then, you can book Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transportation to pick you up from your Resort hotel the next morning to drive you and your family to Port Canaveral! (I do want to mention that unlike Disney's Magical Express, Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transportation is not complimentary; it's currently $35.00 per person, each way.) You can also book ground transfers from Port Canaveral back to Orlando International Airport for the end of your voyage.

If you stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can enjoy the amenities at your Resort hotel or take the complimentary Walt Disney World bus transportation to Disney Springs for an amazing dinner and shopping! Please visit us again with any future questions! We're so happy you sailed by!
