We are taking our 1st Disney Dream cruise in 27 days. I have registered my three children, 6, 5, and 3 online. How does the oceaneers club work once on the ship? Do we just drop off the children when going to Palo, or do we need to reserve a time?

    Hi, Steven!

Congratulations on your soon and oh-so very soon vacation aboard the beautiful Disney Dream! Disney's Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab for kids ages 3-10 are enchanted spaces where the most difficult thing is getting the kids to leave!

When you get ready (or the kids do), simply drop them off at one of the two check-in areas of the Club or Lab.  The Mickey Bands that the kids receive either at the Port Terminal or on board on Embarkation Day will serve as the way for the counselors to keep up with them (and any special needs they may have). They will wear them around their wrists for the entire cruise, and don't forget to turn them in before midnight on your last evening.  (We let our little one fall asleep that night with one on, and we were charged $50 the next morning. No worries...we turned it in the next morning and they took it off our shipboard account.)

When you return to pick up your children, you'll give a family password...which you've probably already created when you registered them online. Then, they check the kids out using the Mickey Bands, and you're all set.  You don't have to have a reservation for them, and the youth clubs are generally open from morning until late at night. Easy, peasy!

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
