Three Generations Aboard Ship

We are taking a Disney Cruise In September and I have a 7&5 Year old...We have booked a couple port adventures but I'm wondering If I don't book a Port Adventure for Every stop, and we want to get off at each stop, is there still A lot to do?

    Ahoy, Alissa!

When my family sails with Disney Cruise Line, we try to make sure to explore all there is to see and do on the ship as well as enjoy the ports we visit. That being said, you absolutely don't have to make plans to disembark on every port day!

If you choose to stay onboard when the ship is in port, you won't have to look far for things to keep you entertained. First of all, you'll enjoy smaller crowds at the pools - that's always a plus! Character meet-and-greets, pool games, and first-run movies are just a few of the ways you can stay busy on the ship during a day in port. My family likes to play Disney Trivia games and catch a Disney film in the Buena Vista Theatre on days at sea or when we stay onboard in port.

Each day, you'll have a Personal Navigator delivered to your stateroom - a detailed schedule of all the fun activities happening on the ship. You'll be able to see at a glance all the options available to you, including what's happening in the Youth Clubs. Youth counselors provide excellent care for the littlest cruisers while entertaining them with games, art activities, and more. There's always something fun going on in the Youth Clubs. A day spent onboard the ship might be a great time for a spa visit for the grownups while the kids play in the club for a bit!

No worries - you'll have plenty to do if you choose to stay on the ship - it's something we love to do. I hope this helps with your decision, and I hope you have a most magical time on your Disney Cruise Line vacation. - Diane W.
