I will be taking DD to the BBB, she is black. I am wondering if I should have her hair in braids or just naturally out for this appointment. What will the do to it and what will they put in it? Also, would you suggest doing this early or late in the trip?

    Hi Juli,

Thank you for stopping by the Moms Panel and asking this great question. The Fairy Godmothers-in-training at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique are very accommodating when it comes to ethnic hair. You are able to decide how you would like your little princess's hair done. When we took our coliy-haired princess, they used lots of gel and put her hair up in a bun. It took a while, but they got it done! Just a note: if your little girl is able to keep her hairstyle without wanting to take it down, then feel free to make your reservation for early in the vacation. Our little one decided that a gelled up bun wasn't her style after the first night of sleep, so we had an adventure in the shower of our Resort room trying to wash out all of the gel and pixie dust. If you choose to have her hair in braids, she'll still be sprinkled with pixie dust, but you won't have to worry about washing gel out of her hair later.

I hope this answers your question, Juli. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask at any time.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
