Hi! We are taking our daughter to WDW (she will be 13 months when we travel) in September and planning on going to the parks for 6 days. Would 5 days be better with a day off in between?

Hi Jessica!  Welcome to the Mom's Panel!  I would love to assist a fellow Georgian!  I have traveled with my children to Disney when they were infants and toddlers. After traveling to Disney with 18-month-old twins, I realized that I needed to schedule a "Resort Day" in the middle of our trip.  On that particular trip, we visited a different park three days in a row and all six of us hit a wall on that third day and ended up needing to go back to our Resort for an early nap. I definitely would recommend visiting the parks for five days rather than six with a "little one."  I would also recommend your non-park day to be on day three or four of your vacation. We find that we really enjoy our "Resort Days" as much as our park days on our Disney Vacations. If you will be staying on Disney property, you could enjoy a late breakfast at one of the Disney Resorts followed by an afternoon by the pool or exploring Downtown Disney. I hope this helps! Please let me know if I can answer any other questions about traveling to Disney with "little ones."  Best wishes for a Magical Trip, Jessica!
    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
