We are taking my daughter who will be turning 8 during March break. I am overwhelmed with the Things you can do and explore... How do we go about? This is a second time for her ( she was 2 the first time) . We are there for 3 full days. Thanks

    Hi Nataly,

Disney is overwhelming! So many choices and so many choices! Lets try to break this down for you.

My initial reaction is to go to your daughter and ask her what she wants to do provided it is not a surprise. Get the Disney planning video and sit down together as a family and plan your trip together. You can also look online.

I would recommend doing one park a day and just enjoying that park for the day. This will save some money by allowing you to purchase just a base ticket. You may want to concentrate on just two parks. I recommend Magic Kingdom and Epcot. There is enough for an eight year old to do at those parks for three days. You can save the other parks for another trip so you are adding something new.

If she is getting a surprise and you have to plan on your own, stick to the basics. Plan a park a day with a table service meal for lunch or dinner. I go with the meal you know she is going to eat. We always do table service for dinner as we like the time to sit down and relax and then plan our evening. I recommend only one character meal of your choice.

This site is full of planning tips so look around our site or ask follow up questions. We love to help!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
