We are taking our daughter for a 1st trip for her 13th birthday our trip is June 19-21 so we are only scheduled for 3 days and trying to make the most of it and make it extra special her favorite character is stich any suggestions?

Hi Melissa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  A first trip and a 13th birthday celebration really sounds like an exciting time!

Stitch is such a fun character. Even though he causes all sorts of trouble, he still is so loveable and always makes me laugh.  One of my favorite places for a character breakfast, and the opportunity to meet Stitch is at ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. This is a family-style meal that includes favorites such as scrambled eggs, bacon, fruits, breads, and usually even Mickey Waffles! Lilo, Stitch, and some other friends such as Mickey Mouse himself are on hand to meet guests and even pose for photos!

My number one piece of advice to first time guests it to not over-pack your schedule. Pick out your top three to five “must-do’s” for each day and work to accomplish those. After that any other attraction, show, or experience is a bonus. I always sit all of my family members down before our vacation begins and together we come up with a game plan!

Take advantage of FastPass+ to eliminate some of the wait times for some of the best attractions, entertainment, and character experiences! We like to use FastPass+ for experiences like Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, and Space Mountain in Magic Kingdom Park.

Lastly, if you’re staying at the Walt Disney World Resort, save time to just relax and splash in your resort hotel pool. I used to try to cram so much into my kids schedule and I would end up with crabby tired little kids. When I let them take the lead, some of our best memories have been made at the pool!

I hope that you have a magical first visit and that your daughter has a pixie dusted birthday!
