    Linda from FL Asked

i will be taking my daughter for first time as well my granddaughter (11 month) how can we do the rides?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Linda!

Some of my favorite memories of Walt Disney World Resort are with my own mother and grandmother. So I am thrilled to help you get ready for your multi-generational trip with your two special ladies! You will find that there are many attractions throughout the parks that the three of you can all experience together. Your littlest princess will be able to enjoy all of the attractions at the theme parks that are open to Guests of any height. Take a look at this Disney Parks Blogs post for a listing of height requirements of attractions at all four theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort. I've taken both of my sons on their first trip to see Mickey and friends when they were just little guys and they loved riding favorites such as "it's a small world", Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid and Dumbo the Flying Elephant!

You and your daughter will be able to take advantage of the Rider Switch program to enjoy all of the "big kid" attractions. All three of you will simply enter the normal queue and notify the waiting Cast Member that you will be using Rider Switch. The one adult will then wait in the queue and ride attraction while the other adult can leave the queue with your granddaughter to explore other magic in the park. After the first adult enjoys the attraction, the adults can then switch, allowing the second adult to enjoy the attraction while the first adult spends time with your granddaughter in the park. My husband and I have found that Rider Switch allows us to enjoy some of our favorites, even though we are traveling with little guys!

Please let us know if you have any other questions! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!

Hi! I’m Crystal and I’m a wife and mommy to two little Mouseketeers. My husband and I have been enjoying Disney Parks since before we were married, and now we take our children to see Mickey and the gang as often as we can, while  managing my oldest son's food allergies. Planning is key for my family to ensure that everyone has a safe and fun trip to our favorite place and it can be just as exciting as the trip itself. I can’t wait to help you plan your next adventure there, too! Learn More About Crystal
