Walking On The Beach

We are taking our 2nd cruise aboard the Fantasy in May 2016. Together with another family, there will be 3 girls in total ages 11 and 12. Any ideas for great activities in Falmouth, Jamaica or should we stay on the ship that day?

    Ahoy again Beverly –

I see that you are hard at work with your cruise planning so let’s keep going! Falmouth is the 4th largest port in Jamaica, and I think it is definitely worth exploring.  The Chukka Horse and Buggy tour through historic Falmouth is a wonderful way to view this unique port town and see some of the amazing architecture that made it famous. If you desire to visit a Jamaican beach, then I recommend the All Inclusive Jewel Beach Break.  Some notable Port Adventures include dolphin encounters, zip lining, horseback riding, and boat tours. If you do not see an interesting tour or adventure for your family, then I suggest walking off the ship where you can view the historic town, sample some authentic Jamaican cuisine or purchase unique souvenirs.  Your pirate fairies will have fun no matter what you choose to do off the ship.  And if you desire to stay onboard, this is a great time to visit the AquaDuck, swim in Mickey and Donald’s Pool, or watch a first run movie at the Buena Vista Theatre.  My pirate fairy used this time to experience the Senses Spa with a Me Bath Ice Cream Manicure/Pedicure.
