Hi! I am taking my children 17 and 15 in March 2017, I am in the early stages of planning and was curious as to how the fast pass works and is there an additional charge for this. I have been unsuccessful getting info.

    Hi Jessica!

The FastPass+ service is one of my favorite ways to make the most a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Every Guest with a theme park ticket can take advantage of the FastPass+ system and it is complimentary to participate! You can make three FastPass+ reservations per day, in one theme park, in advance of your trip. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you will be able to begin making your reservations 60 days in advance. Otherwise, you can make your reservations 30 days in advance. Since FastPass+ reservation availability is limited, I recommend that you book your reservations as soon as possible! Once you have used those three reservations, you can add additional reservations, one at a time.

So, how do you book your FastPass+ reservations? My Disney Experience makes managing your FastPass+ reservations simple and easy. You will first need to link your theme park tickets to your My Disney Experience account and then you will be able to book your FastPass+ reservations once your window opens. You can also use the My Disney Experience mobile app to book and manage your FastPass+ reservations. I love to use the app during my vacation, using the complimentary wifi in the theme parks, to change my reservation times or add new reservations after I have used my initial three. To redeem your reservations, simply proceed to the FastPass+ queue entrance for your reservation and touch your MagicBand or theme park admission ticket to the Mickey touchpoint. It's quick, easy and such a wonderful way to maximize your vacation days!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
