We are taking our 3 children ages, 3,6,8 to Disney for the 1st time from March 9-17th. We plan on doing the dining plan. We also have 6 other people going with us. What would you recommend for places to eat? I got a 6 day park pass.

    Hi, Jaime!

Wow, your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is just around the corner! I hope you're all ready for the magic that awaits you in in March.

Be Our Guest Restaurant in New Fantasyland is at the top of my list on every visit, especially with kids. I love the Beauty and the Beast-inspired ambiance and creative menu. If you’re unable to secure a dinner reservation, having a quick-service lunch there is still a great experience. Lunchtime meals are ordered using a touch-screen terminal, and many dishes are customizable. Once you place your order, you take a “Magic Rose” to the table of your choice in one of three elaborately-themed dining rooms—the West Wing, the Rose Gallery, or the Ballroom—and your food is delivered right to you.

I also recommend having at least one character dining experience. Cinderella’s Royal Table is a must if you have any princess lovers in your group! Disney Princesses visit each table during a regal meal right inside Cinderella Castle.

Another of my favorite restaurants featuring tasty food, fun theming and engaging service is 50s Prime Time Cafe in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You’ll find classic comfort food served in an elaborate setting reminiscent of days gone by. The kids will love it!

Via Napoli in Epcot’s Italy serves some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. These thin-crust pies are hand crafted and cooked in wood-burning ovens. They’re great for sharing!

Dining reservations can be made online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463). Bon appetit, Jaime! Please write back if you need more dining suggestions, particularly if you’d like to focus on options for a certain theme park or type of restaurant.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
