Taking 5&2yr old for 3 days, open-close. 2yr old will nap in stroller anywhere. In your exp. think it will be worth it to rent a stroller for 5yr old or just use our single one? Not sure how long a 5yrold will last when he's used to bed by 7.

    Hi Heather,

This is a great question. I think for Magic Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can get away with a single stroller. For EPCOT and Animal Kingdom, it is a tougher call. EPCOT is very large and Animal Kingdom has rough surfaces. When my children were five, they really only went in the stroller to move from land to land - Tomorrowland to Fantasyland for example. Otherwise they walked all through the land and the stroller was a nuisance to move every time we left the area.

However, since your two year old will want walking time too the five year old can swap into the stroller after the nap.

With one stroller, it will be easier to manage on the buses if you are taking those for getting around the Walt Disney World Resorts.

Finally, if your five year old likes to be in bed by 7, take advantage of the early morning magic hours and go back to the hotel as close to 7 as possible. You can always return to World when your children's bedtime's are a little later and see the evening activities. That will be a special treat for your return.

    Have a magical vacation!
