We are taking Alaska cruise on 7/4. Do all ShoreExcursions reserved through DCL guarantee a spot? Do the excursion timings listed on the DCL activities page always account for the ship arrival and departure times?

    Ahoy there, Mihir!
Thank you for cruising by with some more great questions! The answer to both your questions is yes! The Disney Cruise Line Port Adventure Team does an amazing job of picking fabulous excursions for Guests to experience while in port. If you book a Port Adventure either online or on the ship, you are guaranteed a spot. They do take into account the ship's arrival and departure times, and the ship will not leave you if the adventure runs late. By booking a Disney Cruise Line Port Adventure, the ship will know exactly where you are and will not put up the gangway until your return. The tour operators on land are in constant contact with the ship and know if the ship is running late with arrival as well. When you get to your stateroom, Port Adventure tickets will be left for you. The tickets will have your meeting time and location on them. When it's time for you to venture ashore, just take your tickets to the meeting location, which is often on the ship in one of the lounges. If it's not in one of the lounges, it may be right off on the pier or in walking distance. Once you are aboard, feel free to stop by the Port Adventure Desk with any additional questions you may have about your time ashore.
I hope you have a magical time in Alaska, Mihir! I'm so excited that it's almost time!
