My DH takes medication which makes it difficult for him to be in the sun. He will get headaches and vomit eventually. He knows to wear a hat and long sleeves and stay hydrated. Is there anything we can do to keep him out of the sun at the parks?

    Hi Rebecca,

With vacationing in Florida comes the hot sun. While precautions can be taken which include a hat, long sleeves and hydration, it is pretty difficult to avoid the sun. One of the wonderful things about Walt Disney World is that a lot of their attractions are inside air conditioned buildings. In fact, many of them have queue's for lines which are inside too. You may want to purchase a misting fan which he can use to help keep cool as well. I also suggest avoiding the parks in the hottest part of the day. Perhaps plan on mid-day pool breaks and return in the evenings for the parades and fireworks.

    Wishing you a wonderful vacation,
